Part Time Summer RN - School Setting

Amergis Staffing is looking for an RN to help cover an extended school year program  from July 8th-31st, 2025.

This will be a part time position, about 3 hrs/day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Experience working with children with varied special education needs including cognitive, learning and physical needs strongly preferred. Primary responsibilities may include medication management and medical support for staff and students

The School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare’s philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

 Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accreditedregistered, practical or vocational nursing program
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maine
• One year of professionalexperience, preferred
• Current CPR
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (percontract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state andlocal requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
