School Aide - Part Time

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Duxbury,MA who is currently seeking a School Aide to work with students on acontractual basis.

Details of the Position Include:

Location: Duxbury, MA

Pay Rate: $20/hour (based on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: June 2025

Schedule: Monday – Friday: 12 PM – 3 PM 

Requirements: Experience working in a school setting

Description: Amergis is seeking a dedicated and reliable School Aide to joinour team. The School Aide will play a role in supporting the daily operationsof the school and ensuring a safe and positive environment for students. Keyresponsibilities include:

• Assisting in Lunch Duty: Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.
• Recess Duty: Monitor students during recess, promoting safe play and resolving any issues that arise.
• Administrative Duties: Provide support with various administrative tasks as needed, including filing, organizing materials, and assisting staff.
• Bus Monitoring: Oversee students during the PM bus ride, ensuring their safety and proper conduct.

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
