RN OR Cardiac

The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients. CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure (VAD’s, ECMO, Artificial Heart and Heart Transplants) to name a few. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages. Scrub experience required, ability to circulate preferred.

Job Requirements:
– RN License (NY state license ONLY )
– Two (2) years Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
– Able to scrub and circulate
– Minimally invasive cardiac procedures and VAD (HeartMate 2 or 3) experience required, cardiac transplant experience preferred.

Certification(s):
– BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
– ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Preferred:
Cardiac OR experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.
