PositionDetails:
- Compensation: $55 / hr

- Grade Level: Elementary
- Length of Contract: Remainder of 24/25 School Year + 25/26 School Year
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday
- Hours/Week: 24
Qualifications:
- Previous school experience preferred
- LSN or must possess a Public Health Nurse (PHN) to apply for the LSN on Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB)

The Certified School Nurse (CSN) identifies and treatshealth conditions among students in the school setting. The CSN providesinstruction for the student’s general wellbeing and disease prevention. TheCertified School Nurse must assess the student’s physical condition in theschool setting and refer the student to appropriate resources as needed to besuccessful in school.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current nursing license for the state in which the nursepractices
- Certification or Credential in school nursing, required
- One year prior school nursing experience required
- Pediatric experience, preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
