The Amergis Division is currently seeking highly skilled Certified/LVN/LPN at Assured Home Health for a position in Spokane, WA 99201.

Position Announcement: Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) – Home Health

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN/LVN (Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse) – Home Health provides skilled one-on-one nursing care to patients in their homes and accompanies them to appointments when indicated.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of practice
  • One year of prior professional nursing experience, home care experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)
  • Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Position Details:

  • Modality: LPN

  • Start Date: ASAP, most likely April 28th
  • Length of Contract: 26 weeks
  • Shift: Flexible schedule, daytime Monday to Friday preferred
  • Hours/Week: 40 hours

Submission Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of home health experience required
  • Resume
  • License

Pay Package:

  • Travel Pay Rate: $22/hr x 40hrs= $880wk
  • Weekly Allowances: $1,407 (Meals $525wk and Housing $882wk)
  • Total Weekly Paycheck Gross: $2,287

Notes:

  • Candidate will be required to visit 5-6 patients per day, necessitating a reliable vehicle.
  • Mileage reimbursement included at $0.655/mile.
  • Up to 1 month of training included.
  • Potential on-call duty once or twice a month at $4.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws governing nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the healthcare team.
  • May not alter the plan of care.
  • Visit patients and provide nursing care according to the plan of care as assigned.
  • Participate in the in-service program according to LHC policy.
