The Amergis Division is currently seeking highly skilled Certified/Registered Medical Assistants for a position at Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Walla Walla, WA 99362.
Position Description: Amergis Healthcare Staffing is looking for a Medical Assistant to perform duties under the direction of a physician, assisting in the examination and treatment of patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient telephone communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with clerical functions
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
- Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred
- Relevant certification/license (if applicable)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Candidate must be bilingual. Fluent in English and Spanish.
Job Description:
- At least 1-2 years of Family Practice experience required; Phlebotomy experience required
- Alternatively, 1-2 years of Internal Medicine experience is acceptable

Shift Details:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- 4 x 10hr day shifts – No weekends
Compensation:
Travel Pay:
- $16.28/hr x 40 hrs = $651.28/week
- Meals: $400/week + Housing: $700/week = $1,100/week
- Weekly Total: $1,751.20/week
Local Pay:
- $30/hr x 40 hrs = $1,200/week
Estimated Start Date:
- April 28, 2025
Contract Length:
13 weeks
