Are you acompassionate and dedicated professional looking to make a difference in thelives of high school students? We areseeking a SchoolSocial Worker to join our dynamicstudent support team.

Our client is committed toproviding a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. We offerspecialized programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) andCognitive Impairments (CI), and serve a diverse population of students with IndividualizedEducation Programs (IEPs) as well as those in general education.

PositionOverview: As a School SocialWorker, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome barriers totheir educational success. You will provide comprehensive social work servicesto families, students, and school staff, addressing issues that limit a student’sability to fully benefit from their educational experience. You will respond toreferrals from school administration, families, teachers, the Student SupportTeam, and others, providing direct services and assisting families in accessingappropriate school and community resources.

KeyResponsibilities:

Provide direct social work services to students and families.
Collaborate with school staff to address student needs.
Assist families in accessing school and community resources.
Respond to referrals from various sources within the school community.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Full or temporary School Social Worker license through the Michigan Department of Education.
Experience working with high school-aged students; familiarity with ASD and CI supports preferred.
