Behavioral Classroom Aide

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Classroom Aide.  The Behavioral Classroom Aide provides behavioral support services in the school setting.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with students, educators, and specialists to provide individualized behavioral support in the school environment. Your role will be essential in fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic school environment

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Associates degree in behavioral studies or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current CPR card.
• Current TB Skin test or Chest X-ray
