Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Sacramento, CA!

Floor:

Position Information:

• Facility Department/Cost Center:  Therapy Services
 Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): Therapy
 Specialty:  OT
• Number of Openings:  1
 Shift: Days
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
 Weekend Hours:  OPEN
• Call Requirements: None
 Required Certifications:  CA License
 Years of Experience: 2 years Acute Rehab or Acute Care
• Float Requirements: None

• Additional Notes:

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 52
 Patient Ratios:  4-5 patients per day.  6 hours of treatment time per day
• Equipment:
 EHR: Cerner

 Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”:  TBI, SCI, Ortho Trauma

First Day Instructions:

• Scrub Color:  No requirement
• Time to Report:  800 AM

• Parking: Free adjacent to the building.  Will be issues a parking placard

 

Local pay $52/hr

 *Total Travel Package = $2,532.00/week/40 hours

 

·         Weekly Housing Allowance: $1,050.00

·         Weekly Meals/Incidentals Allowance: $602.00

·         Weekly Taxable Income: $880.00

*Based upon qualifying for position and allowances. Total package is inclusive of taxable wages and allowances.

 The Occupational Therapist is responsible for performing client evaluations, developing and providing occupational therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each patient.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school or program of Occupational Therapy
  • One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
