Job Description: As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students through various mental health and developmental challenges. You will aid in qualifying students for additional support services and provide on-site psychological services under the jurisdiction of the state and district. Your expertise will help create a positive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Offer counseling and support to students facing emotional, social, and academic difficulties.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on mental health awareness and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current State licensures and/or certifications in the state of assignment.
  • Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in psychology is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification, if applicable.
  • Completion of TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable.
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
