Through June 2025 – Chance of temp to perm and extension School year ends 6.11.25. Summer Starts 7.1.25

Start Date:

ASAP

Submittal/Interview Process:

Interview virtually with recruiter- use template in position attachments

Hours/schedule:

35 hours per week Regular School Year Hours: Mon., Tues., Thurs., and Friday (7:45 A.M-2:45 P.M) and Wednesday (7:45 A.M.-12:25 P.M)

Typical job duties & work environment:

Working 1-1 with students that have moderate Autism and related behavior issues.  

Specific experience required:

Previous experience with Autism

Top 3 skills needed for success:

Timely, professional, able to verbally deescalate

What type of EMR/charting is used (if applicable):

adaptable to the Lesson Planning assigned teachers and admin

Ratios (if applicable):

average of 7 students in the classroom

*Covid vaccine and Flu shot REQUIRED*

The School Aide is an individual who works with studentsrequiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision ofthe special education department and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide supportservices to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeuticcare needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, socialworker or other health care professional. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
