Amergis Healthcare is actively looking for a Registered Nurse that would be interested in a Full-time 13 week contract within an Emergency Department in Quincy, IL. Additional details of the contract are listed below:  

Position: RN

Specialty: Emergency Department

·       Level 2 trauma center and level 2 stroke center

Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week available, every other weekend

Shift: 7:00pm-7:30am  

Patient Ratios: 1:3 up to 1:5, Emergency department averages 120 patients per day

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergentcritical care areas.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse License within the state ofpractice
  • Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNS or TNCC
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements    
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
