Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Psychiatric (Psych) assignmentsin Washington, DC!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 15

Start Date: 4/21 or within 3 weeks of offer

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) / Days or Nights

*Willwork every OTHER weekend/holiday

 

Setting:

  • Brand new facility – level II/III trauma center
  • Hospital (acute care)

     

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of RN Psych experience
    • Preferred 1 year full time or 3 years part time experience in an acute care setting
    • DC RN license
    • BLS (AHA)

    ThePsychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range ofnursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promotewell-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment,diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective andefficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability inthe coordination of patient care.  The PMH RN works in a variety ofsettings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, andcommunities when applicable. 

     

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Current Registered Nurse Licensure in-state practicing
    • Current CPR if applicable
    • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
    • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
    • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
