The Amergis Division is currently seeking highly skilled individual for the following assignment!

 Job Posting: Unlicensed Social Worker/Counselor/Mental Health Clinician

Location: Various settings including medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers, and other organizations in need of assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirements.
  • The Counselor may possess an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or other Human Development majors.
  • Current CPR certification, if applicable.
  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable.
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Position Details:

  • Number of Openings: 3
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Length of Contract: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 4×10 hour shifts
  • Hours/Week: 40 hours
  • Submission Requirements: Resume, License/Certification
  • Minimum Experience Required: Experience in treatment planning and working with adolescents.
  • Licensing: Must be licensed in Colorado or in the process of obtaining the CO license.
  • Feedback Time: 24-48 hours
  • GTE or Shift Cancellation Policy: GTE

Compensation:

Travel Pay:

  • $20hr x 40 hrs = $800/week
  • Meals: $476/week + Housing: $700/week = $1,176/week
  • Weekly Total: $1,976/week

 

Assignment Highlights:

  • Working with children ages 10-18.
  • Sub-Acute and Acute units – Prefer candidates who can float between the two.
  • Staff are not required to run groups, but it is beneficial if they are comfortable with it. Must be able to run individual sessions.
  • Dealing with children experiencing trauma, including self-destructive behaviors, mood disorders, dissociative disorders, PTSD, substance abuse, etc.
  • Participate in weekly clinical team meetings discussing treatment formulation, progress, regress, and/or failure; lead discharge planning, discharge summaries, follow-up care, and liaison communication.
  • Conduct client utilization reviews and medical necessity discussions with insurance payers, if necessary.
