Make a lasting impact on the lives of students as aSpeech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting! We are seeking acompassionate and dedicated professional to join our team and provide essentialtherapy services, working closely with students to support their communicationand developmental needs.

Position Details

  • Location: Independence, MO
  • Compensation: $60 / Hour
  • Hours:40 / Week
  • GradeLevels: Elementary
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays)
    • Candidates to have the flexibility to be available 7AM-4PM
  • Duration: Remainder of 2024-2025 School Year
  • WeeklyPay
  • Start:2 weeks after offer

Qualifications

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in thestate of Missouri (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Key Responsibilities

  • Work under limited supervision, following standardized practices and methods.
  • Direct other individuals within a small work unit.
  • Monitor and manage budget expenditures.
  • Utilize resources from other work units as needed to perform job functions.
  • Contribute to impacting the organization’s services to some extent.

Additional Information:

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting isresponsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing anddocumenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed foreach individual student and the physician’s orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in thestate of assignment required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-LanguagePathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
