Amergis is currently seeking experienced ICU RNs for TRAVEL assignments in Washington DC!
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 wks
Number of Openings: 8
Start Date: 4/21, 4/28
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 hrs/wk, Daysand Nights Available!
*Everyother weekend, every other holiday
Setting/Day to day
- NEW in-patient hospital
Requirements
- 2 yrs ICU experience REQUIRED – Open to CCU/Medical ICU/Neuro ICU/ Trauma ICU/ CT ICU experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS REQUIRED
- DC RN License in hand required
The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibilityand accountability for the application of the nursing process and the deliveryof patient care in a variety of critical care settings. Consistently performsaccording to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care andassisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities includemonitoring, assessment, vital sign monitoring, ventilator management,medication administration, intravenous insertion and infusion, central linecare, catheters, and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status.The Critical Care RN must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonaryresuscitation and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.
Minimum Requirements:
- CurrentRegistered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
- One year of critical care experience is preferred
- Minimum of one year acute or critical care experiencepreferred
- Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facilityrequirement)
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
