Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced CAT Scan Technologists (CT Tech) for assignments in Boston, MA!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 1

Start Date: 4/28 or within 3 weeks of offer

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) / Nights / 7p-7:30a / Every other weekend

 

Setting:

  • Level I trauma center
  • Inpatient acute care

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience
  • Inpatient acute care + level I trauma experience
  • GE Hi Def or Revolution experience
  • BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT)

TheCAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographsof specific areas as ordered by a physician.  These cross-sectional imagesprovide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones,which are essential for accurate diagnostics.  The CAT/CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
  • Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
  • A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
