Hospital provides psychiatric and medical care to adults and adolescents in 25 counties in the central region of the North Carolina. CRH also serves children ages 11 and under from all 100 counties of North Carolina.
Open Needs:
1st shift, 7:00AM- 3:30PM
2nd shift 3PM-11:30PM
3rd shift 11PM-7:30AM
40 hours weekly – NO OT allowed unless mandated
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistantwithin the last three years
- Graduate from certified nursing assistant program withsubsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per staterequirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and ingood-standing
- Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
