Amergis Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking highly skilled Inpatient Behavioral Health Clinician for assignment in Sacramento, CA!

Position Details:

 Inpatient Clinician- Sacramento, CA

·         6-8 week assignment (with possible extension)

·         Monday- Friday

·         8AM-4:30PM

·         One of the following required- CA ACSW CA AMFT

·         Will be working with adults; Lockdown facility; Must have experience working with psych patient 

·         Unit: Department of State Hospitals (DSH)

·         Supervision hours available

 Local Pay Rate: $60/hr

*Total Travel Package = $2,652.00/week/40 hours

·         Weekly Housing Allowance: $1050.00

·         Weekly Meals/Incidentals Allowance: $602.00

·         Weekly Taxable Income: $1,000.00

*Based upon qualifying for position and allowances. Total package is inclusive of taxable wages and allowances.

The Unlicensed Social Worker/Counselor/Mental Health Clinician provides counseling to patient’s in a variety of settings including medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers and other organizations that are in need of assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirements
• The Counselor may possess an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
