Job Title: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (Travel Assignment)
Location: Hermiston, OR

Position Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Number of Openings: 3
- Start Date: April 1st
- Shift: Night Shift (NOC) x 2, every other weekend, 3×12 hour shifts
- Scheduling: Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Job Description: Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses for travel assignments in Hermiston, OR. The ideal candidates will be responsible for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care with accountability and professionalism. This role requires effective clinical judgment, critical thinking, and performance ability in coordinating patient care. Nurses will consistently adhere to nursing standards and assist in managing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care with accountability and professionalism.

- Demonstrate critical thinking in coordinating patient care.

- Assist others in managing patient care.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state of practice.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
- Current Health Certificate (as per facility contract or state regulation).
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience on a Med Surg unit as an RN.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification through AHA.
- EPIC experience is strongly preferred.
- PALS certification (can be obtained within 90 days of start; must have a class scheduled by the assignment start date).
- Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision.
- Active Oregon license preferred (facility will request a 90-day exception for the nurse; must apply for the license upon offer and acceptance and will be reimbursed when the permanent license is issued).
