Contract Details: This contract is located in near Thornton, CO and will last the remainder of the 25/26 school year. The contract pays $56/ hour (local) and $2,430 /week (travel) for 37.5 student contact hours per week with a full benefits package. Before applying for the position, please ensure you are eligible to work in Colorado as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher or already a licensed Early Childhood Special Education with the Colorado Department of Education. Pending licenses are accepted.
Role Details: The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, provides quality services to special education students, pre-kindergarten through grade 3. The ECSE Teacher supports different students in three different classrooms and has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs, including special instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation with general education staff. Para will be in support of ECSE and will be in charge of scheduling for their Para. Additionally, there is a BCBA, SLP, OT, and PT that will be in support on the collaboration team.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, preferred
- Certification for Early Childhood Education (Child Development Associate, CDA) as required by state/ client or contract
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
