Looking for CorrectionalNurses to assist this jail site through Illinois Department of Corrections(IDOC). Below are the volume needed and shift times required – All detailsabout the facility demographics and jail site can be found at https://www2.illinois.gov/idoc/facilities/Pages/AllFacilities.aspx 

Neededfor submittal: Submittal Packet with Amergis coverpage, resume, IL State License, CPR Card, COVID Card, Nursing License andcompleted IDOC Application AND full 10-year work history datingback to 2013 must be attached. Temp license NOT accepted

All nurses must be availablefor 5×8 hour schedule to fit the facilities scheduling needs. Most facilitiesare on a 2×12 and 2x8s, but candidates must be available for anything.

Set Travel package isattached on the position

Under “Related” column on candidate profile page

Under “Requirement” drop down

Click, Wexford – IDOC Application (ContractRequirement)

Ensure all Five (5) pages are assigned

Additional work history page may also be assigned via the abovesteps

Matches without full 10-year work history willbe rejected

CandidatesWILL NOT be submitted without all of the above items included in the SubmittalPacket

Only submittals throughRC will be looked at – If correct submission requirements are not met, thematch will be rejected

Submission Timeline(please review with caregiver prior to submission):

·Submit Candidate toWexford for name clear/eligibility

·If eligible (nameclear), candidate is sent to Corrections Regional Manager and DON for interview(Phone Screen)

·Once accepted,candidate must send the following to NRM/ BDM, merged as one PDF

·      Completed IDOCApplication w/full 10-year work history

·      CPR (BLS) 

·      Driver’s License

·      Photos of Tattoos (ifapplicable)

·      Covid Vaccination (fullycompleted) – client does not allow medical/religiousexemptions for agency staff

*Wexford/IDOC will not begin BG’suntil all requirements are received and 100% accurate

·Once above requirementsare sent, Wexford schedules for:

·      Background Check – cantake up to a minimum of 28 days to clear

·      Drug Screen – scheduledafter BG’s clear

·      Candidate WILL NOTreceive a start date until they clear DS with IDOC

·Standard Amergisonboarding

To be cleared to start,candidate must:

·       Be Fully Vaccinated (no exemptions)

·       Be Permanently Licensed in Illinois

·       Be in Full Placement

·       Clear Wexford Background Check and Drug Screen

Caregivers should bring her belongings in a clear plasticbag (if bringing lunch they will check bag if not clear), water/juice/tea needto be in a sealed bottle, must leave with the same pen they came in with. Thereis a designated smoking area if needed.
