Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Radiology Technologists (Rad Tech) for assignments in Rochester, NY!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 1

Start Date: 3/31 or within 3-4 weeks of offer

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (5×8’s)

 

Setting:

  • Interventional Radiology

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Rad Tech experience
  • NYS Rad Tech license or ability to obtain one prior to start
  • BLS (AHA), ARRT (R)
  • VIR certified preferred

TheRadiology Technologist performs diagnostic procedures and activities to createdetailed diagnostic images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medicalconditions.  The Radiology Technologist collaborates with members of theradiology and health care team to promote total patient care.

 

Minimum Requirements:


  • High School diploma or its equivalent certification
  • Certificate, Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology if required by state/contract
  • Current ARRT license preferred
  • State specific licensure if required by state/contract
  • One-year relevant experience as a radiology technologist preferred 
  • Current CPR if applicable
  •  TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
