The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department and/or supervising designee.  The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional. 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age  
  • Springfield Schools

    Submission Requirements:

    • Coversheet
    • Resume
    • Signed Springfield specific job description
    • Aide License through ODE (Proof that they have applied)
    • Proof that they signed up for ESEA Endorsement or have proof of transcripts to bypass testing
    • Needs to score a 5-9 or higher on the support staff hiring passport (required to be completed when G2’ed)

    Feedback Time/Process:

    Once put into offer made, final interview conducted by David (no client interview needed)

    Bill Rate:

    $38.00 an Hour

    Pay Package:

    $15.00 an Hour (PLEASE review attendance bonus and pay structure incentives now attached on the company-paid time off, bonus etc.)

    Remainder of 24-25 School Year and possibly next year

    HS Hours- 7:45a-3.05p

     

    Hours per Week:

    35 Hours a week

    First Day Instructions/Orientation:

    -FDI will be provided closer to start

    Dress code/Scrub Color:

     

    Business Casual
    No ripped clothing

    General Comments

    Lockdown Process for Springfield Aides:

    1. G2
      • In addition to the traditional G2 note, you will also need to complete the School Support Screener template by Nathalie Williams. Log this as a connect or general note and tag the BDM
    2. Complete onboarding docs and sign aide responsibility document
    3. Sign Springfield specific job description document
    4. Apply for ODE license
    5. Sign up for parapro assessment/ submit transcripts to ODE
    6. Match to position
      • Sub to open position if there is one
      • Sub to evergreen if there is not an open req to sub to
