Spanish Teacher Positions
Location: Beloit, WI
Salary: $40 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM and 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary: We are seeking passionate and dedicated Spanish Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for teaching Spanish language and culture to students, fostering a love for language learning in a supportive and engaging environment. This includes both a regular Spanish Teacher position at Dual Language Immersion Spanish Teacher positions for 3rd and 5th grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate both Spanish and English instruction.
- Teach core subjects (e.g., math, science, social studies) in Spanish to promote language immersion.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and behavior.
- Participate in professional development and training sessions.
Qualifications for Dual Language Immersion Spanish Teachers (3rd and 5th Grade):
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field.
- Valid teaching license.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Bicultural and bilingual DPI requirement.
- Previous experience teaching in a dual language or immersion program is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
