Looking at a May start date due to jail clearance- if cleared sooner, can start sooner!

Shift Details: 36 – 48hrs. 2 weekends a month required. Weekend = Fri, Sat, Sun. May be scheduled 48hrs every other week depending on the unit assigned to. PANAMA team schedule. 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, etc. (2-2-3). NO BLOCK SCHEDULING. NO SELF SCHEDULING. NO MORE THAN 24 HRS OF RTO ACCEPTED PER 13 WEEKS

Overtime: Could be every other week, NOT GUARANTEED

Pay: $40hr, $60hr OT

Length of Contract: 13 weeks – only 24 hrs of RTO will be accepted per 13 weeks. client prefers candidates that would like to stay long term rather than just 13 weeks.

Experience Needed: 2 years min experience. ER or acute care highly preferred. will consider candidates with LTAC or rehab experience. corrections experience will be considered if in a large facility with high volume of patients. HCP must be experienced and comfortable working in high volume, fast paced environment.

Nursing home, psych and private duty will NOT be considered.  Parking is about $5-$6/ day. FLU required as soon as it’s in season and available, COVID NOT required. ONLY TEXAS RESIDENTS WILL BE CONSIDERED

Feedback Time: up to 1 week. If HCP is a good fit, they will likely receive an offer.

Submission Requirements: Houston Core Submission template, Resume, SSC, DL, candidate questionnaire (in attachments), HSCO clearance forms – local office can send these out via docusign

Other Notes: Client is most interested in securing HCPs who are wanting 1 year plus on assignment, and they prefer local candidates when possible. Cellphones and other contraband is not allowed – phones must be left in the vehicle. If they’re a traveler, make them aware they must be fingerprinted in Houston at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. FACE AND NECK TATTOOS ARE PROHIBITED PER TATTOO POLICY

Experience Needed: Min. 2 years experience in current licensed role (LVN). 2 years experience in med surg, or ER (must be within 1 year). Epic experience required. Triage skills is a plus. Make sure candidate is aware they will need to pay for parking – it is about $5-$6/ day. FLU required as soon as its in season and available, COVID NOT required, psych nurses are not accepted and will be rejected
