PACU RN

Performing established nursing procedures using clinical knowledge to care for patients recovering from moderate sedation, general or regional anesthesia. PACU servicing a 21 OR and 10 cath lab suite. Surgical volume includes orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, ophthalmology, neuro, GYN, GU, Robotics. Surgical volume is primarily inpatient and outpatients. Cath lab population include neuro-intervention, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, pulmonary hypertension, interventional radiology patient population. Patient acuity is high reflecting med-surg and ICU patients. This position will be floated within our perianesthesia region.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Cardiac ICU experience with PACU background
  • ACLS, BLS
  • EPIC experience
  • Previous Travel RN exp.
  • BSN RN required
  • CPAN preferred
Details:

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Start date: 3/31

Duration: 13 weeks, possible extensions

Unit: PACU – Cardiac Cath Svcs Pre Proced Recovery

Shift: Rotating

Hours: 3x12s, 36 hours/week

Requirements: CA RN License, 3+ years of Cardiac ICU experience with background in PACU, BSN required, EPIC experience, BLS, ACLS
