Position: Sonographer – Maternity Clinic

Location: Goldsboro, NC

Shift/Schedule: Mon-Fri | 8 AM – 5 PM | 40hrs/wk

Contract: 13 weeks

Pay: Starting at $40/hr

Job Description Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our Maternity Clinic in Goldsboro, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to support the health and well-being of our patients. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Duties:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, focusing on obstetric and gynecologic imaging.
• Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide a comfortable and supportive environment during examinations.
• Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing accurate and detailed reports to physicians.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.

Requirements:

• Graduation from a two-year program from a community/technical college with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Ultrasound, or a closely related field.
• Must be certified as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and certified in OB/GYN.
• Valid NC Driver’s License.
