After-School Behavior Technician

Job Title: After-School Behavior Technician

Location: Boys and Girls Club, Orange County, CA

Work Hours: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Shifts are available Monday through Friday.

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our after-school program team. The ideal candidate will help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our students. Key responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with homework, organizing activities, managing behaviors, and ensuring the well-being of all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children in the program.
• Assist students with homework and academic enrichment activities.
• Organize and facilitate recreational and creative activities.
• Promote positive social interactions and address any behavioral issues.
• Implement behavior management strategies to support positive behavior.
• Monitor and document student behavior and progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized program environment.
• Adhere to all program policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Experience with behavior management techniques.
• ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) certification is required.
