What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Experts: Work under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and program supervisors.
- Support Students: Provide essential behavior assistance and interventions to help students thrive.
- Implement Strategies: Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support learning and behavior.
- Crisis Intervention: Be a crucial part of the team during challenging moments.
- Goal-Oriented: Review and implement behavior intervention plans and goals from Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Document Progress: Keep accurate records of sessions and data.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Promote Independence: Assist students with self-care activities like toileting, clothing routines, and personal hygiene.
- Behavior Management: Reinforce positive behaviors and supervise students during behavior management techniques.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience preferred.
- CPR Certified: Current CPR certification required.
- Health Requirements: Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (as applicable per state and/or client requirement).
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
- Tech Savvy: Computer proficiency required.
