School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Location: Adelanto, CA

Pay Rate: $40 – $45 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Adelanto, CA. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide support and services to students with speech and language disorders. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay rate.

The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant assists the SpeechLanguage Pathologist in providing speech and language services. The SpeechLanguage Pathologist Assistant will have clinical, educational, documentation,and treatment related activities while working within the scope ofresponsibilities/ plan of care assigned by the Speech Language Pathologistand/or physician. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree,or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communicationdisorders program 
• Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours ofsupervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent asrequired by state and/or contract
• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-LanguagePathology Assistant in the State of Practice 
• One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language PathologyAssistant experience preferred; 
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
