School Based BCBA - AMAZING School District!

Amergis is seeking an Experience BCBA for an urgent need at one our of best schools in the DC area! This is a full time W2 position. We offer weekly pay, full benefits, 401k and many more perks.

Hours:37.5/week 

Schedule: M-F  7:45am – 3:30/4:00pm

Start Date: ASAP

**Team of 3 total BCBAs on site for entire 250-400 student population.  will work as a team to oversee behavioral framework of school and educate teachers on approach to certain behaviors.  Should plan to work with students directly as well where needed, and be a part of IEP meetings to help coordinate education plans.  

**The School is an 11 month school, with 2-3 weeks off in summer, winter break and spring break.  Far more hours worked in a calendar year than most of the school roles, which works very well for agency staff making hourly and will earn a greater amount than salaries or public school temp work

Job Description: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits.  The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements:

Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field

Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools

One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 

Must be at least 18 years of age
