Position: Moderate/Severe SPED Teacher
Location: Banning
Start Date: ASAP upon compliance
Schedule: Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Pay: $60-65 per hour
Assignment Details:
- Middle School
- Moderate/Severe Certification Required
- Caseload: 10-12 students per classroom
- Interview Required
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in both academic and functional skills.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and compliance requirements.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and learning.
