40 MILE RADIUS RULE – NO LOCAL CANDIDATES
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shifts: 4x10hr Nights 9p-7a (Monday – Thursday)
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Float Requirements: N/A
On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: No weekends/Every other holiday
Required certifications to be attached upon submittal: KY license, CT registered by ARRT
Minimum experience required: 1 year
Charting experience required: Epic
Required Skillset: Inpatient/ED setting – will need to be skilled with CT and diagnostic x-ray
Unit Information: A great team atmosphere within the department.
The 3rd shift tech will have a Rad Patient Assistant to help with transport of patients and room turnover. We are directly adjacent to the ER.
The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
- Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
- A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
