Current opening for a dedicated and compassionate Para Educator to join the Special Education team in Beloit, WI. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with special needs.

Position Details:

• Location: Beloit, WI
• School: High School
• Pay Rate: $25/hr.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Department: Special Education

Job Description:

As a Para Educator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students with special needs, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support, and collaborating with teachers and other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or successful completion of a formal assessment test (ParaEducator Master Teacher).
• Eligibility for Wisconsin Special Education Program Aide Certification #883.
• Ability to lift/move 50 pounds where applicable.
• Basic information technology and media skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness assessment (e.g., standing, bending, kneeling).
