Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team in Tecumseh, Nebraska. This unique opportunity involves providing comprehensive medical care to inmates, with a focus on case management. The position offers a low patient volume and a full support staff to assist with daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care services to inmates, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Manage inmate case files and ensure accurate documentation of medical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct routine health assessments and screenings.
• Address acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and legal standards.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license to practice in Nebraska.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field.
• Strong clinical skills and experience in primary care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
