24 - 25 SY Sign Language Interpreter Educational

Come Join the Sign Language Interpreters in the Lynwood, WA School District.  We are looking for SLIs to complete the 24/25 School Year  

Location: Lynnwood, WA

Age/Caseload: TBD

Start August 2/24/2025  – Duration 5 months

Hours -M-F (35 hours a week)

Weekly Pay:  

Local – $58 Hrly

Travel Package- $20 Hrly, Lodging $500, Meals $300.00

Submission Requirements: Updated Resume, 3-5 highlights of relevant experience, 2-3 References (at least on supervisor), Interview Availability and holds correct licensure/willing to obtain.

The Educational Sign Language Interpreter supports staff, students, and families by providing interpretation and translation services for deaf and hearing-impaired students. The interpreter also effectively facilitates communication between students who use sign language due to hearing loss, and students/teachers who do not. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• State Board of Education Initial Sign Language Interpreter Certificate (as applicable)
• Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) certificate (as applicable per state regulation or client requirement)
• Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification (as applicable per state regulation or client requirement)
• Current CPR if applicable 
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
