Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As an integral part of our special education department, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services. Your expertise will help students overcome communication challenges, enabling them to achieve their full academic and social potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
