Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Framingham, MA who is currently seeking a qualified School Counselor to assist them on a contractual basis.
Details of the position include:
Position: School Counselor/Social Worker
Description: K-3. Tier 2: individual check ins, small group skill instruction, 504 writing/meetings, parent/teacher meetings as needed, etc. Dual language school. While Spanish language capacity is preferred it is not necessary
Location: Framingham, MA
Facility Type: Public School
Start: ASAP
Duration: Through the end of the school year
Hours: Mon – Fri 8:50a-3:50p
Pay Rate: Up to $45/hr to $50/hr (*based on experience)
Requirements: LICSW , open to new grad sitting for exam with waiver. Experience with IEPs, 504s is a plus. Spanish speaking a plus.

Minimum Requirements:
- Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirement
- The Counselor may be required to have an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Psychology, Addictions, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or some other Human Development major per state, contract and/or facility guidelines.
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
