Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Oncology assignments in Aurora, CO!
Position Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)
Number of Openings: 1
Start Date: 2/24 or within 3 weeks of offer
Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (5×8’s) / Days / Mon-Fri (8a-5p)
Setting:
- Cancer center
- Chemotherapy/Infusion/Oncology
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of RN Oncology/Chemo experience
- ONS/ONCC Chemo certification highly preferred
- CO RN or Compact RN license
- BLS (AHA)

TheOncology Registered Nurse evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursingcare for the oncology patient population. The Oncology Registered Nurse worksin hospitals and outpatient care centers where patients receive cancertreatments. In hospital settings, the Oncology Registered Nurse assistswith surgery prep, patient education and coordination of their cancertreatments. In outpatient care center settings, the Oncology RegisteredNurse typically helps with treatments such as chemotherapy and infusions whilemonitoring patients’ vitals, side effects, and pain.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current RN license in state practicing
- One (1) year of experience in oncology nursing preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
