Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected facility in Southbridge, MA who is currently seeking qualified  Special Education Teachers to assist them on a contractual basis.

Position: Elementary Special Education Teacher

Description: 

• Licensed Special Education Teachers to support Autism Specific Classrooms 
  Experience in lesson planning, modifying curriculum, IEPs, ABA, classroom management ect.
• MA, RI, CT, NH licenses accepted!

  Sub-separate classrooms will have a Amergisum caseload of 12 students 
  Classrooms will have to educational assistants and two ABA therapists to assist
  Sped teacher will support writing IEPs, attending IEP meetings, lesson planning, classroom management. 
  Students have some behaviors however are fairly baseline for an ASD room, tantrums, difficulty redirecting from preferred activities, no’s, some students do need toileting but that is the responsibility of the EAs.

Location: Southbridge, MA

Facility Type: Public School 

Start: ASAP

Duration: 24 – 25 School Year 

Hours: Mon – Fri 8:15a – 3:30p  (aprox) 

Pay Rate: Negotiable based on licensure and experience 

• Up to $55/hr (MA Licensed) 
  Up to $50/hr (Out of state) 

Requirements: 

• MA DESE moderate or severe special education license 
• Out of state license accepted!
