Seeking BehaviorTechs in Thousand Oaks for 2024-2025 School Year!

Please read job description before applying- Responsible for providing direct support to students withbehavioral challenges by implementing behavior intervention plans developed bya Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), working closely with teachers andstaff to create a positive learning environment within the classroom and schoolsetting, and collecting data to monitor student progress. You must be okay with toileting.

 

·      Pay:$25/hour

·      StartDate: Upon completionon onboarding

·      HoursPer Week: 32.5hours (6-7 hrs/day)

·      Schedule: Monday – Friday

·      Length: 2024/2025 School Year

·      Requirements: ABA experience, 3–6-monthsexperience as a Behavioral Technician, must be comfortable toileting andchanging. Will be working with children with special needs. Priorexperience working with children or as a caregiver is required. High schooldiploma or GED.

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational andbehavioral services with children and adults with special needs andcollaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists toachieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable   
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
