BCBA

Amergis Staffing is looking for a BCBA to work in a therapeutic day school. This position is an all-year position and does not have a summer break. The school services children from Kindergarten to age 22. The BCBA will not be providing services through insurance so there will not be any paper work related to insurance. The BCBA will be working closely with the special education team on proper implementation of BIPs and appropriate goals in accordance with ABA. This is a great position to bridge between a clinical and school setting. 

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations, develops and implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programmatic therapeutic services, and develops behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral deficits. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst acts as a program supervisor who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises behavioral service delivery in a clinic, home, or other setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field
• Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
• Must be at least 18 years of age
