Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled andcompassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role,you will provide consultation, training, conduct behavioral evaluations, anddevelop/implement behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic andbehavioral deficits. You will act as a clinical teacher, educating, observing,assessing, and supervising educational activities and behavioral servicedelivery in the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral evaluations and functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff, parents, and caregivers on behavior management strategies and interventions.
- Observe and assess educational activities and behavioral service delivery to ensure fidelity and effectiveness.
- Supervise and mentor behavior technicians and other support staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and other support plans.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, making data-driven decisions to adjust intervention plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and other required records.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology, or a related field.
- Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in school settings.
- Minimum of one (1) year pediatric experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification, if applicable.
- Completion of a TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray, if applicable.
- Current health certificate, as required by contract or state regulation.
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.
