Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Neuro Intensive Care (Neuro ICU)assignments in Baltimore, MD!

 

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 1

Start Date: 1/27 or 2/10

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) or 48 (4×12’s) /Day/Night rotation

*Willwork 3 weekends per 6-week schedule

On-Call Requirement: 2 on-call shifts per6-week schedule

 

Setting:

  • Neuro Critical Care unit
  • Will float to like skillset units (ICU/IMC) as needed

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of RN Neuro ICU/Critical Care experience
  • MD RN or Compact RN license
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA)
  • EPIC experience

The RN -Neuro ICU assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of thenursing process and the delivery of patient care in the neuro critical caresetting. The Neuro ICU RN consistently performs according to nursing standardsand is accountable in managing patient care and recognizing change in patient’sconditions.  The Neuro ICU RN must be alert and prepared at all times torespond to emergent situations and they must also be able to remain calm andprofessional in times of crisis. 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
  • One year of critical care experience is preferred
  • Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement)
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
