Amergis Staffing is currently seeking School CNA for the2024/2025 school year in the Ramona, CA area.

Position Details: 1st grade male ***may be asked tobe flexible on assignment

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours/Week: 32.5 hours

Start Date: January 2025

Length: 2024/2025 School Year

Details: Work as 1:1 with 1st grade malewho has cerebral palsy. Students ismainly in a wheelchair but can also walk if closely monitored. Close monitoringdue to sensitivity to heat and cold, has swallowing difficulties, and he isunstable on his feet. ***may be asked to be flexible on assignment

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs directpatient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensedmedical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient careactivities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for thepersonal needs and comforts of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

Prefer one year experience as a certified nursing assistantwithin the last three years
Graduate from certified nursing assistant program withsubsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per staterequirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and ingood-standing
Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clericalfunctions
Current CPR if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
