We at Amergis Staffing are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one care for an elementary aged school student in Spring Lake, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or adolescents with special needs and epilepsy and will be committed to ensuring the student’s health and well-being throughout the school day.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to the student, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and managing any medical emergencies.
Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of the student’s health status and any interventions performed.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student within the classroom setting.
Qualifications:
Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of the student.
