he Registered Nurse – Clinic/Wellness/Immunization works to serve a specific population’s health and wellness needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently to provide quality appropriate care in accordance with facility’s policies and protocols.  These variety of sites include but are not limited to community or employment immunization clinics, wellness clinics, job safety and workers compensation sites and travel health clinics from pediatric to geriatric age populations.

 

Details of the position include:

 

Location: Lynn, MA

Duration: 13 weeks to start (prefer someone who is open to going on perm in the future)

Facility Type: Primary Care Clinic

Schedule: Mon/Tues, 8:30-5 & Weds-Fri, 8:45-5:15

Salary: $57/hr

 

Duties and Responsibilities (these are a general summary and not all inclusive):

·         Administering vaccines

·         Triage patients by telephone or in person to determine urgency and level of care needed, assuring appropriate care disposition.

·         Perform patient procedures, assesses patient health status, and provides health education to patients/families regarding pertinent health issues, clinical conditions, treatments, recommended follow up actions and /or home care.

·         Communicate pertinent abnormal test results to provider. 

·         Track patients for necessarily follow up documenting appropriately.

·         Utilize those skills to interact with patients/clients, team members and staff from other departments.

 

Qualifications:

·         Clinic or pediatric experience

·         Charge nurse experience

·         Bi-lingual in Spanish /Khmer/Russian with knowledge of medical terminology preferred
