Need BCBA’s – The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES providesconsultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implementsbehavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioraldeficits.  The Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, andsupervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the schoolsetting.

Weekly Pay: $2,500 – $3,017

FTE 1.0 (8hrs/day) -40 hours weekly

Minimum Qualifications

WA BCBA

BACB – BCBA

(will not consider LABA/BCaBA)

District Specific Details:

  • In-person
  • Supervise RBTs (no RBTs in BCBA program — not responsible for that supervision)
  • leading Professional development
  • Navigate IEP meetings and provide coaching with admin
  • Special programs, continue supporting.
  • Vetting and determine if kid can be enrolled in special programs
  • FBA and BIPs yes — would be in conjunction sometimes with school psych
  • Access to IEP online 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts functional behavior assessments and educationalassessments, accurately identifying the function of challenging behavior andsocially valid, pivotal behaviors to target
  • Develops strong collaborative relationships and providestraining to school staff to implement effective applied behavior analysistechniques.  Provides ongoing support andtraining to related field staff ensuring treatment integrity and supportingprofessional growth
  • Investigates concerns and provides coaching and disciplinaryaction when appropriate
  • Develops behavior goals according to the needs and abilitiesof the student
  • Determines prevention, intervention and consequencestrategies utilizing non-aversive behavior change methods
  • Collects, analyzes and reports data and other documentationwithin established time frames to ensure program validity and efficacy percontract guidelines
  • Attends and presents behavioral progress at IEP meetings

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching,psychology or related field
  • Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programsand services in schools
  • One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred
  • Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice 
  • Participation and completion of Amergis’ Competency programwhen applicable
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements 
  • Successful completion of new hire training as applicable tojob site 
  • Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAArequirements  
  • Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to andfrom appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors,co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in theEnglish language is required  
  • Computer proficiency required 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
