Full-time Speech Language Pathologist Position!

• Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluate students for speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Use standardized tests and observational methods to diagnose issues.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs. Set specific, measurable goals for therapy.
• Direct Therapy: Provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions. Use evidence-based techniques to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss student progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress. Ensure compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
• Education and Training: Educate teachers and parents about speech and language development. Provide training on how to support students in the classroom.
• Support and Counseling: Offer counseling to students and families to address communication challenges. Support students’ social and emotional development.

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
• Patience and empathy when working with students.
